Baby Beasley's Little Nook

One day the girls and I took some time to just glance around Home Goods and what did I find?! A mobile for our sweet Baby #3 :).  Little bees buzzin around their honey hive sparked the thought of Winnie the Pooh disguised as a rain cloud trying to convince the bees that he wouldn't be a threat to their beloved hunny.

So, a little simple sketching and branch hunting at the park later, we have a Vintage Hundred Acre Wood themed nook for our Baby Beasley :). *My text could be improved, but hey :) I LOVE the lyrics.
I'm thinking of making some leaves with a gold, copper, and some other color depending on baby's gender once found out, and/or a mix with some burlap-like material. I'm really digging color and texture ;)
Perhaps I will add some silhouettes of birds and such as well. We'll see. But either way, it's pretty fun whippin' out the hand-me-down drill and other fun tools from my dear Dad to affix the branch and mobile safely. Boy, do I love projects!

Jump little Children

As Daddy was on his way home from the city, gloriously there was sunlight so we could get some bundled up energy out before dinner :)
Running around at the park down the street.
 Finding animals in the clouds.
Having now experienced true winter, we're really appreciating Daylight Savings time. The sun doesn't set now till around 6:30 or 7 at times whereas before it was too early.
Good night sun :)

Colors of the wind

After blessing me with watching the kids as I slept in this morning (which was very much needed), Matthew had a wonderful idea today inspired by one of our kids favorite movies: Disney's Pocahontas. He thought it'd be great to get out and see a real waterfall! Luckily there is one not even a half an hour away. So, off we went to Paterson Great Falls.
Found this and laughed so hard. It's not my own:
When we arrived Norah and Maryn were in awe. Maryn just woke up from a nap and couldn't stop marveling that before her was something she had just seen in her favorite movie!

Norah and Maryn ate it up and certainly would love to go back again. Grrrrrrrrrreat idea Daddy! :D

Some Random Bits :)

We are now 34 weeks pregnant with Baby #3 and counting. It's hard to believe we'll be holding this sweet one here very VERY soon. Measurements from todays checkup tell all is well with baby's growth and health, thank the Lord, and Mommy is doing well also. Gotta soak up some more sleep before this one arrives ;)

We're so stinking curious as to what baby's gender is. Boy is it hard to not find out! Though it's tough to not have Mary and Nedra by our side for our third child, Dina, our new sweet midwife, has been taking great care of us and made our transition here especially in the pregnancy/birthing world a peaceful and lovely one. We're so thankful to have found her. She's noticed a few things to help momma better prepare for not just pregnancy but also birth and made things smooth for us to transition. People like that are hard to come by.

We're greatly looking forward to some visits by wonderful people such as our dear cousins, THE DUCOMMUNS!!! :D They'll be visiting for a couple days and boy we can't wait! Genevieve (BEEVEE!!) will also be here to bless us with time together for about a week or so and then my dear Momma (Kami!!) will be visiting at the end of March to graciously help us with the kiddos and the new baby's arrival. My Dad (Baba!!) will also be coming as well at the beginning of April after a conference in Maryland. Boy are we spoiled, but we sure do LIKE it! :D

Well I'd better go and lift my feet up ;) It's that time again. Have a good one!

3 for not much longer

It's crazy to think our little Nojo will be 4 in 4 days. She's a fantastic 3 year old and we presume will only be a wonderful 4 year old.
We love conversations with this girl. She has such a curious mind!
We're thankful for this sweet child who's dreams and smiles affect our own.
We're so happy to witness her growth in love and kindness.
She has a tender heart ready to learn, serve, and care.
She's so thoughtful with her little sister.
Watching her grow has been one of the most wonderful things we've been privileged to be a part of.
& not to mention! She's happy to discover and be silly.
We love you, Miss Norah Jane. Always and forever.
